Support in offering high-quality early education and child development including children with disabilities that promote children’s cognitive, social, and emotional growth for later success in school. Additional support with teachers in planning, organizing, and implementation of education best practices and services for children in the Head Start Program.
COLLABORATES WITH: Early Childhood Team, Head Start Team, Early Head Start Team, YWCA Quality Team, Center Director, Center Staff, Child Care Resource and Referral Training Team
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILTIES:
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND MEETINGS:
QUALIFICATIONS: Strong communication and training skills required. Must be willing to work in child care classrooms in communities with a diverse population.
Professional Training Required: A minimum of fifteen (15) hours of professional training related to Early Childhood and/or to the responsibilities of the position is required annually.
EDUCATION REQUIRED: Bilingual Spanish Language an Asset, Meet Department of Children and Family Services Requirements for Licensure, Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education from an accredited institution.
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday, occasional Saturdays. Schedule can vary depending on the needs of the agency.
Pay Range: $48,000-$50,000
